Default How to get a tune?

I'm a new guy, how do get a tune? Do you have to bring a performance chip? Do you just bring the car to the shop and they put it on the dyno, is there anything else need to be done before the tune? What is the thing that reads the ecu, do I need it to get ecu reflash?
I'm sorry ask too many questions. I'm really to this. Thanks.

UpRev Osiris is the proper method for tuning 370Zs and to be honest it's the only way...this is way better than a canned tune. You can either buy the software and do it yourself or go to an authorized tuner from the list on the UpRev site. IMO it's better to just find a reputable shop and pay for the license and tune, I paid $500 for the license and few hours on the dyno tuning my car. If you just buy the software from UpRev it starts at $500 and you won't get the best possible tune compared to being on a dyno.

Like Glokwork said your best bet is to get the car tuned on a dyno. UpRev and Cobb are the two popular options for the Z.

Dyno tune with UpRev Osiris FTW. Cobb no longer supports the 370z. UpRev is the BEST option and it works great!

I agree totally with going the way of Osiris. Not only has Sam at GTM made 1000hp using the system, we have also had great success with NA and TT cars as well. We have tuned many a 370Z up to 500+hp on the stock motor with no issues. I would highly reccomend getting the vehicle dyno tuned that's where you will see the most gains and the A/F will be on point. You can also opt for a valet map as well as a fuel economy map.
