I'm not really sure. Perhaps there's something in slot 5 but he only showed me 4. Also 93 is all I use here but I suppose a 91 map would be good if I drove west in the US and all they have is 91.

So what codes did you throw? Did the SES go away after the tune due to correcting the AFR or did the tuner disable the sensor?

I'm having a SES too. 2 weeks away from a tune.
I threw o2 test pipe codes and he cleared them for me without asking and said the software would stop the test pipes from throwing a code. I don't know the exact code.

My 93 map(slot 1) has the higher Redline. I believe it's set to 8100....? Maybe 7900. The chart stops at 7900.

I think most people have a SES light after some mods, but yeah I believe the tune removes this.

Thanks for coming in!...it was a pleasure to work with you.....

to answer a few questions....

Pulls are made in 4th gear.....
....and the 4 maps are all that are needed in my opinion....our map is 91 octane safe as well.

AFR's are in the 12.5-13.0 range depending on RPM and fuel conditions....

and the SES that was triggered was P0420/P0430 ....they are activaed from the cats being less efficient or missing.

Lordy lord!

12.6-12.8 is the sweet spot for the VQ37 when naturally aspirated.

Just so you know, 10.5 is hideously rich for a N/A motor. You're blowing clouds of gasoline out your tail pipes.

If you still have cats, you're getting those puppies up to some serious temps by blowing that much fuel into them. They'll burn out pretty fast at that rate, if they don't fail outright from overheating.

Edit: That said, if your car only feels like it's running right @ 10.5, you should probably do some logging and figure out what is going on. If the car is pulling a lot of timing @ 12.5+ you might have something very, very wrong with your engine.
