It's just default benefit.
I tried launch control a few days ago. Yikes! Scared the crap out of me.

Currently sitting in the shop lobby while Hal works his magic! Great customer service here so far, real helpful with all my questions. Will update here in a bit on if the eight hour drive from KC was worth it, but it's hard to think I could be disappointed..

UPDATE:
Just finished my long drive back home. Wow. Sharper throttle response, significant gains throughout the powerband, and it pulls much harder. So, so satisfied with Dynosty's ecutek tuning. This car finally feels like the sports coupe it was meant to be.

PS - the flat foot shifting feature is hilariously awesome.

Good to hear. I still haven't tried the flat foot. After driving stick for so many years, it's hard as crap to get my brain to let my foot stay down. I instinctively want to lift.

Taking mine down on July 11th for a ecutek tune, Motordyne CBE, and CAI Stillen G3 install.

I'm starting to feel anxious!

Hal and Logan are awesome had my car tuned about in May. If you can get a couple people to go at the same time they do group rates. A friend and me went down there. I have K&N intake 1320 performance test pipes and HKS exhaust. Made 316 whp and 266 trq. Ill post a picture later. Will go back when I go forced induction for a return.

Glad you had a good experience

Mine, not so much. Their onboard E85 monitor is constantly off when compared with a manual testing device. Their excuse was the manual device was wrong, until I told them I tested E85 race fuel with a guaranteed value which the manual device nailed spot on and their gauge did not.

Come to find out they use multiple (brands) of flow through sensors and don't calibrate the gauges properly. After many conversations with them and sending my gauge back for testing they never made godo on it (6+ months of contact) before I ultimately sold the car. They refused to test the sensor when I offered to send it in.

You've been warned

Hi Keith,

I'm fairly new to the E85 but done a lot of research. are you saying, once someone installs say a super charger and they switch to E85, they (hal) provides you a gauge monitor? are you saying the monitor they provide is bad? if so, what monitor do you recommend using?

Thanks in Advance!

Dynostay sells (sold) a full E85 onboard onitor with gauge and sensor. That is what my above experience is with. I never talked to Hal and this was 4 or so years ago when I dealt with (apparently) office staff. Wasn't the best experience I've had with a proprietor.

So it's been almost a year later, and my car just now decided to have check engine light problems from my HFCs, on a daily basis. I called up Dynosty and explained what I had going on. They pulled up my record where they had done the tune, and gave me several options. It was excellent support and an easy fix. I did opt to pick up Bluetooth kit from them, and Hal sent me a modified version of my map and I was able to flash it to my car and save myself a trip down there. Easy as could be.

I've had my tune for almost 1.5 years now and have to say the magic has worn off.

Shortly after getting tuned I noticed there was an issue with downshifts which has persisted to this day. When I blip for downshifts (I almost never use S-mode) the throttle simply wont react. It may give a dull rev, but I have to put my foot through the floorboard to get the thing to truly rev-match and its completely inconsistent for when it happens and which gears between 3-2 and 4-3. Sometimes it happens sometimes it doesn't, but it always drives me nuts.

Additionally, the car feels down on power and pretty soft overall compared to initial impressions, still have a horribly laggy throttle at times. I also have issues with hot starts where the car will nearly die before finding the proper idle.

I just bought an ECUTEK cable to do a remote correction, so I'm hoping they can fix it. Still, its kind of disappointing to see Dynosty-tuned 370's with various combos of I/HFC/TP/CBE only dropping mid-high teens in the 300 horsepower range. Especially when other shops seem to get similarly modded cars into the 320-330 range (specialtyZ, SOHO, Z1).

Would any other Dynosty customers want to chime in? I can either do an e-tune from a recommended tuner or rent a dyno locally for Dynosty to correct. Same cost either way.

I had my 40th tuned last year from Dynosty and I am 100% satisfied that they got every bit of HP that they could from the mods that I have. The car is more fun to drive, has excellent throttle response and even raised the MPG a bit.

You mention that some other tuners may be squeezing more juice from their tunes, but we are not comparing apples to apples. Their dynos may be the difference in the results. It could just be the margin for errors that is the difference as well. No two dynos give the exact same results, so I will hazard to say that may be one of the biggest reason.

Now, if you were to get a car tuned at Dynosty and another one of the tuners mentioned and used the SAME dyno for BOTH tuners and the results were different, then you may be on to something.

All I know (for my situation), Dynosty got the most performance out of my Z that they could.

I’ll rescind my comments about Dynosty’s tune quality earlier. While the hot start issue/throttle lag was a bit annoying, Hal got me squared away today via remote tune. Dealt with 1.5 hours of software issues to kick things off, but once ecutek decided to work on my laptop he sharpened the throttle, fixed the idle, and added a hotboi map for pops and bangs. Car pulls hard and feels excellent once again.
