I think most would like to go forced induction on the Z, just a very pricey endeavor. I meant my prior 2 cars were turbo from the factory, much easier to mod.

LMAo!!! You're not kidding. I boosted my old scion tc for under $6k and that's using quality parts, and purchasing 2 turbos and 2 different setups

People pay $1K+ for exhausts that only gain that 10-15 hp

the car just drives so much smoother and the throttle response improvement is totally worth it. If I had to do it again, an Ecutek tune would be my second mod after the RJM clutch pedal

as everyone else said it's not just about the gains.

I got about 10 WHP after an ECUTEK tune.

500 for gen 3's are best bang for the buck imho.

I almost want to get the RJM but I'm fine with the stock. for now with the helper removal.

personally speaking with intakes/exhaust and then the 2 days I got to drive with the tune... it's totally worth it. throttle response was quicker. cleaned up the ratio's (better for the long run) and makes a slightly more aggressive sound from before.

do not tune until you are done modding... if you're going to get FI in the next 1 year then wait. I'm in the boat of wanting to get some TT's but $$ and then the extra upkeep is not within my budget right now.
