Very true. I see that you're still N/A with a tune. How would you rate your gains from just a tune alone? I've seen mixed numbers. Some are fairly substantial and some are only 10-15 hp which really isn't worth it imho

From what I've read, the tune isn't really about peak numbers. People who have one will swear it was worth it for the improved throttle response alone.
JARblue likes this.

Definately understandable. It just doesn't seem that cost effective of a mod for the price for such a minimal gain. You know what I mean?

Totally understand you. My 2 prior cars were both turbo so I know all about spending a few hundred bucks and getting a big bang for your buck with some minor mods. Truth is these cars are pretty maxed out from the factory. You are only going to do so much with a N/A 3.7L V6.

You also have to account for the other features an ECUtek tune would offer. Valet mode, launch control, multiple maps for different octanes. I plan on getting one eventually. Going to do tune and HFCs all at once.

I"m definately considering it. I would love to go turbo again but the price tag is a bit insane right now. lol. Eventually it will happen.

I think most would like to go forced induction on the Z, just a very pricey endeavor. I meant my prior 2 cars were turbo from the factory, much easier to mod.

LMAo!!! You're not kidding. I boosted my old scion tc for under $6k and that's using quality parts, and purchasing 2 turbos and 2 different setups
