Do be careful the first few laps, though. There's a super-thin outer layer on all new tires that sucks and needs to be scrubbed off - something to do with the molding process.
Mostly, the stuff you see about properly breaking in tires and then letting them rest for days is about increasing the heatcycle longevity of the tire AFAIK. |
