Whine only under acceleration is likely that the ring is slightly too far away from the pinion and I have the same issue with my Quaife. I had it "professionally"

Whine only under acceleration is likely that the ring is slightly too far away from the pinion and I have the same issue with my Quaife. I had it "professionally" installed because I knew how perfect you have to get the backlash on these and I felt I couldn't do it correctly the first time. Now that I've taken it back and had it redone and it still whines some, I wish I would have just done it myself.
