V8SuperCar incident at Philip Island GP Circuit Nov 24
Alexandre Premat blows a rear tyre at 225kph in Casey Stoner curve (T3) and it pitched off the circuit into the kitty litter. Car slows to about 110kph and re-enters the track, impacting the B-pillar of James Courtney's Commodore (aka Chevrolet SS in the USA).
The super-slo-mo shows the roof creasing. Side impact protection does its job - heavy bruising to the leg and possible ligament damage in the knee joint. Not the sort of incident any racer wants to be involved in .. Vision found here ............
