V8SuperCar incident at Philip Island GP Circuit Nov 24
 

Alexandre Premat blows a rear tyre at 225kph in Casey Stoner curve (T3) and it pitched off the circuit into the kitty litter. Car slows to about 110kph and re-enters the track, impacting the B-pillar of James Courtney's Commodore (aka Chevrolet SS in the USA).

The super-slo-mo shows the roof creasing. Side impact protection does its job - heavy bruising to the leg and possible ligament damage in the knee joint.

Not the sort of incident any racer wants to be involved in ..

The white car had all four wheels off the ground from the impact :eek:
