... Hmmmmm... Dominic is the service advisor, Chris is the tech doing the work, and the valve head that was ordered... Right part number... Wrong part... Lol...
Sooooooo... Nissan Corporate?

Or just give me a load of free crap, that always works well!
I need 2 keys for the damn locking lugs that are on the car.
I need tires installed
I need my brake fluid replaced (install SS brake lines too)

And um... That's it for now, lol

In all honesty, Dominic and Chris have been great, the hold up I guess was getting the valve head in, and getting the correct replacement. I wish someone checked it on arrival, but shít happens I guess.

And not to be the ŕsshole, how did replacement 2 take 2 days to get in, but the first one took about 2 weeks? I expected a week or two, I just don't get how a second one was sourced so quickly

Have you had RE-11's?
Nope went from OEM RE-50's to goodyear f1's in the rear, to Reo0760's in the front(with same goodyears in the back) for street on foose wheels. For track I bought enkeis+rs3's. I swap every track day. I am willing to try the RE-11A because it is bridgestones answer to the rs3, but they make it in crappy sizes. My next track set will probably be rs3 as well. And then I will probably drop to nitto nt01's once I have at least a minor suspension upgrade.

My rs3's are honestly above my skill/speed level right now and I am barely using them. I swap them during the week to the re-760's (which are fantastic street tires). Bridgestone could sell me the re-11A's, but their sizes are only for S2000/civic SI and the Subi crowd. No one makes custom sizes for 370z's since we are a rare breed.

I do want to add that now that I have some track time and commute time on it. I want to add a few more things in this discussion. For price reason, I elected the RS3 in the size I did. If you can avoid it, do your best to avoid a small tire like the ones I am running (285/35/18). They have the tendency to cause the car to scrap everything as they are just too small. With the smaller tires, 2nd gear can get very interesting too as I get a massive amount of wheelspin if I were to punch it off the corner. Of course wheelspins lead to overheated diff and all other sorts of problems.
Another thing that is super obvious to me is that the RS3 can handle way more heat and abuse than the RE11. In a way, they remind me of a compound like the Toyo RA1s. Since they are so similar to a R compound, feel on them are absolutely terrible. With the RE11, you know when you are on edge and it will just plow or push as you hit it (The RE11 wasn’t even great either, but RS3 is way worse in response). With the RS3, I do notice the car tends to just snap as they hit the traction limit. I almost $hit my pants a few times when the backend started stepping out.
Lastly, it seems to me the RE11 likes higher tire pressure compare to the RS3. With the RE11, I was around the high 30s cold where the RS3 likes it in the low 30s. Obviously everyone’s driving and opinions are going to be different, but that’s just what I observed and I feel comfortable with it.

Some of what you are saying in your post seems a bit off or wrong cossie.
I use those same tires and there is never any scraping(cept big willow turn 6 when I go dukes of hazard).

The rs3's are sticky as hell and your back end should almost never break loose. I can not think of one situation in the last 10 track days where the RS3's broke loose in the back on me. Are you running stock suspension?
If not, then it is most likely something completely else.

What are you doing Nov 24th? Come kick it with us at AAA speedway. Prolly martin, d-lo, the corner 3 guys and lots of the 350 and SX guys will be there. Sure you can find your answer there. PM me or martin82 or C3(mike) lots of peeps here to help you out. What you are saying sorta doesn't add up.

Also, yeah for very hot days a lot of guys will start their RS3's at around 29. They don't like to be above 35/36. Colder days start around 32/33 and then see where you are at.

I am on stock suspension. I am limited as to what I can do. These tires are grippy, but they do snap loose from time to time, especially in temp in the 60s and 70s. These tires do handle heat very well, much much better than the re11.

I am done with my track day quota until Xmas. I did laguna buttonwillow and sonoma already, everything came out of me. I hope I will get my suspension in before my next laguna event and I want to redo my brakes by April.
