I am considering removing my rear sway bar for this sundays autox just to see if it helps any. I have 13k springs up front and 9k springs in the rear. I am also running bfg sport comp 2 tires and about 2 degrees of camber up front and 1.5 rear. Is this a good idea or should i just leave it alone?

Has anyone ran the adjustable Koni Sports "Yellows" for autox with good results? I see tirerack has 25% off until 5/31. Thanks.

Really? That's good to know. So I can autocross on disconnected rear sway and I have not have any problems... Should I at least zip tie it or something?

Yes, zip tie the endlink to something so it isn't flopping around.

Does this add to the rear traction? Any downsides to driving around like this daily?

Out of curiosity what is everyone running in terms of aftermarket shocks and springs for autox? I have been reading up on powertrix, fortune auto and bc racing but I don't see anyone on the forums using these for autox.

I used custom double Koni's in late 2010-2011, switched to Motons for 2012-2013 and now use custom Penske shocks...

Very nice. I looked up the motons for the 370z and they are 4k. Were your konis done by true choice?

Also have you run anything more midrange? Something better than the konis but less expensive than motons and penske? 2k is my limit.

I run stance gr+ true coils. In the process of getting some heavier springs. I have heard BC coils are one of the best for the money...

I run stance Pro Comp 2's and love them. they were right on par with your 2k limit.

I see a lot of ppl here are running stance. I guess I am just a bit worried about quality. I read mixed reviews about stance being really good quality and some saying that its not others say its the best, so confusing. I know you have a custom setup from them though so that may be different. Could you PM on FB?

And chkhawk I do like the BC's but again everyone has mixed reviews on them. Seems to be the trend sub 2k.

I can't really recommend anything in the 2k range, sorry. I am not a fan of AST (don't think they exist anymore?) or KW. You can get single Ohlins for mid 2's new now, which are an OK option, but limited on bump travel in OTS spec. You will probably want to play with rates on those shocks as well, the OTS springs are progressive I believe. Give them a good toss into the garbage when they arrive if you go that route. They also come with top mounts. You will get ONLY the shocks themselves if you go with upper tier (Moton, Penske, Ohlins TTX, etc) shocks. Unless you are a good fabricator, etc you will want to set aside at least 1k for assorted springs and getting spherical top mounts made...

I didn't find the Ohlins for the 370 only the 350.

I called truechoice and they said they can custom make a set of Koni yellows for me with ground control sleeves in the front for $1300, not too bad. That also includes valving for swift linear race springs. Maybe that will have to be the route I take. Only problem will be finding a way to adjust the rear ride height as truechoice wants $700 for a custom rear spring perch.

Also gotta keep in mind that this is my DD on crappy roads.

Yes, no rear swaybar will add to your rear traction, and I suppose that there would be no downsides that I can think of. For the sake of aftermarket parts though, I would check the swaybar through its entire travel to make sure it doesn't hit any parts...
