The base wheels' widths are 8" front and 9" rear so can you fit anything wider than 245/275 on there? I'm also gonna be looking for a new set of

The base wheels' widths are 8" front and 9" rear so can you fit anything wider than 245/275 on there? I'm also gonna be looking for a new set of tires next spring, but I will only be doing HPDE's and DD my car on those tires as well. I was thinking about getting RE-11's or maybe the Conti DW to save some money. What do you guys recommend? I'm still a beginner BTW so it's not like I really need the stickiest tire, but rather something that has a good balance of grip and that I can DD without many issues.
