don't understand why only 5 moded Z's in the 12's ???

If a 370z owner takes out their cats, adds an exhaust, & gets a tune, every young guy with a manual or auto trans. should turn in the 12's. Add 4:08 gears, plus tires & you're in mid 12's. There is a guy in Florida JNAUT who has a shop, that would be happy, & very able/experienced to help you do that.

As far as killing the car. Going through 4 gears, only 12/13 seconds, with an engine cut off, you couldn't kill it no matter how hard you try. Without TT/S/C or Nitro, it's almost impossible to damage the engine. 60 months or 60k miles warrenty. How many keep our cars longer?
