don't understand why only 5 moded Z's in the 12's ???

The one thing I don't really get is that the Z can run a 13.3 in pretty much any magazine and as we all know some high 12's stock. If

The one thing I don't really get is that the Z can run a 13.3 in pretty much any magazine and as we all know some high 12's stock.

If one has ART or LTH's, a good CBE, CAI and tune I don't know why we don't see more 12.5's or 12.7 times without using rear gears.

The only thing I can think of is that even with my ART pipes and the F.I. exhaust I can pretty easily spin in 2nd without getting on it real hard.. so I can imagine on a slick track with high temps it wouldn't work... but as said, not everyone posts their times either.
