I only got in about 1.5 hard laps at Miller Motorsports Park (about 3 minutes) before limp mode kicked in, then ran the other 17 minutes of the 20 minute session slowly. It wasn't even very hot out - low 70s. 4500 ft altitude and dry though.
If you hit limp mode, he should be able to handily trash you unless there's a huge difference in driver skill in your favor. So get an oil cooler.
