As mentioned earlier, don't even attempt a track visit without a large oil cooler, you'll be in limp mode in no time and he'll destroy you.

I only got in about 1.5 hard laps at Miller Motorsports Park (about 3 minutes) before limp mode kicked in, then ran the other 17 minutes of the 20 minute session slowly. It wasn't even very hot out - low 70s. 4500 ft altitude and dry though.

If you hit limp mode, he should be able to handily trash you unless there's a huge difference in driver skill in your favor. So get an oil cooler.

Standing 1/4 will be a drivers race. You'll have the advantage on a road course due to his heavy V8 sitting in front of the front axle (persistent Audi design flaw).

Honestly speaking Cunnos, I personally don't see the point of those futile races, you got a fast & nice car, the other party has got a fast(er)/pricier car ... so what...more power to him. 10 seconds later, not much would have changed in your life because you won or lost a lousy race. Good luck if you take on the challenge.

thanks for giving me the heads up, but i dont think i will get slapped the way u describe. If you met this kid you would understand where im coming from, i never do any racing with my Z and typically dont get into this stuff. But this is different, this kid is a little spoiled d*ck who's father bought him a car, never worked a day in his life. Now he is running his mouth, so i wanted to find out what would happen if i accepted his challenge. Thanks for the response though
