Race Track Questions

Either way when you are doing the hpde 1 the instructors wont let you pass or do something stupid if I'm correct at least thats what I understand from reading

Either way when you are doing the hpde 1 the instructors wont let you pass or do something stupid if I'm correct at least thats what I understand from reading on their site And i kind of understand that by taking my car to the track I could wreck it so i wouldn't complain if I actually did. Also for those who have been to one what exactly do you do with your Z to prepare for a race, I've read about what they suggest you do, just wondering your personal steps and routine. Btw thank you to all for the helpful info.
