Default I may run the Texas mile.....your thoughts?

I will most likely run the Texas mile in October this year. I have no idea what i will end up at speed wise but have had my ecu speed limiter removed by Z1. I have the 7AT tranny and the GTM TT stage 2 setup but on low psi setting. I will probably remove my carbon fiber hood and put my stock hood back on just for the run. I have the stock bridgestones on the front and Advan Neova AD08's on the back.

Any other performance suggestions you got?

The issue will not be directly power but also aerodynamics depending on how fast you plan to go.
Put it this way, a stock Mustang GT has broken the 160 group a year or so ago and some boosted ones were in the high 170/low 180. Power was not the issue but aerodynamics.

+1 for aero like taping your seams. power will only do so much since drag increases a lot more with speed.

WHY in the world would you do the texas mile on low boost? You do know the point is to go as fast as possible right?

power is number one, gearing is number two, aero is number three. i would work on the power as much as possible unless you are just doing it without caring about your results.

the texas mile will be very humbling for a little boosted 370z
