Having owned both a 350Z and now a 370Z I can say that the 370Z will be leaps and bounds better than the 350Z was at autocross. The wider stance, shorter wheelbase, and revised suspension geometry & components make it handle quite well. I have not tried an autocross with it, but I am confident in my saying that it will be a potent contender in autocross.
My car never had the tire feathering problem... the fact that there is no camber adjustment up front made the car a tire eater...
