I wasn't upset about anything, I'm fine. I would say it's still a drivers race. Assuming equally skilled drivers, I think the Camaro SS might just barely beat the 370Z in a straight line. Not 100% sure what would happen on a road course (other than the Z would overheat :bowrofl:) but I think the Z might take it, again assuming equally skilled drivers.

GTM trackion control with launch control has been shipped. should be here in 6 days.
can not wait to launch at 3800 to 4000 rpm with the 7 AT.
i think there is going to be lower times coming.
Just bring the SS on.

Z

yea on track i think the camaro would have it but street wise, i've taken out a few SS camaros from rolls and stops. i dunno they just have a hard time gettin power down on the street

I have only had 2 experiences with racing the new SS. One was from a guy doing a 45 roll he didn't come around me till 120. The second the guy claims he had intake and exhaust if that is the case he really just did not know how to drive b/c it wasn't even close. I still think of my car being stock b/c right now I only have stillen ud pulley and drop in k&n air filters. Future mods when I get back from Afghan. in Sept. will be F.I. LTH, CBE, Uprev Tune. Still debating on intake and maybe NST overdrive alternator pulley. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Once all is done I will be mowing down my buddies 2000 slowmaro SS with full bolt on's and tune. Sorry for getting off topic.

Don't piss your buddy off too much. He'll spend like $500 on a cam and spank you. Damn LS1s. :rofl2:

I walked away from a Camaro SS once, at the dealership and then threw up a little.

Ya LOL Lucky for me though he can't afford to dump much into his car for a long while, not to mention he can only get his car down to a 13.5-13.3 at best but big weight difference he is 400lbs. For what he has done to his car it's running like weak sauce. We let one of our other buddies drive it who is obviously not as heavy and has a lot more exp. at the wheel and got his car in at a 12.9
Not to mention I plan to get the GTM SC stage 2 next year before the summer kicks off:happydance:

400 lb driver... that'll mess with the power-to-weight ratio just a bit!
