Default Sonoma Raceway Noise Limit

I'm doing my first HPDE at Sonoma in November and there's a 103db sound limit. With Z1 headers, Berk HFC's, and an Invidia cat-back what are the chances I'll get flagged for being too loud? I have the headers sitting in a box in my trunk and I'm considering adding them after the track day, just to be safe. I figured I'd ask the more experienced among us before deciding.

well wish I was allow 103db. It all depends, at Atlanta Motorsport Park limited to 98db, I have z1 headers / z1 test pipes resonated / FI exhaust with 18' mufflers resonated. Never got flagged. (Note this is at 50 feet from track)

So it might come down are the BerK HFC and Invidia cat-bat at all resonated. I had my built that way, because I new sound limits are in affect.

Just my 2 cents on what I have done. Another thought, its a bit cheaper, does Sonoma do any SCCA Track nights, the reason I ask, its 130-155 to run, might be a cheap experiment to see if you get bounced....

The berk/invidia setup isn’t known for being obnoxiously loud and I think I’d pass with my current setup. It’s the headers I’m worried about for the most part.

You should be fine. Pretty much any sort of muffler should get you under that limit. Z1 headers won't make a difference for sound over stock headers. Long tube headers that delete the cats will increase the loudness of the exhaust a bit.
