For tire size what Brendan said is pretty spot on. For actual brand and tire model last I knew the RE-71R and Rival S's were the hot tires to have.

For tire size what Brendan said is pretty spot on. For actual brand and tire model last I knew the RE-71R and Rival S's were the hot tires to have. Both had their pro's and con's but either one could be competitive. Best bet is to ask around within the autox community and not just Z owners.
Or for even more fun jump up to BSP and play on Hoosiers.
