It'd take a true asshat to protest over something like that -- but it's something to be aware of.

I disagree. I contacted the SCCA before I bought the z1 FUCA Street kit to run STR (last year). They looked it over and gave me the green light. I have the full email conversation.

Without doing a deep dive into the 370z's specific metal to non-metal ratio for stock bushings, all they were most likely commenting on was the fact that it "appeared" compliant. The guys at the SCCA main office aren't experts on every vehicle ever made.

As was previously pointed out, you most likely have nothing to worry about unless you come up against a someone willing to suffer the ridicule a weenie protest like this brings upon the protester.

I only see a rule regarding the bushing material. Not metal content of balljoint as was stated earlier.

Confused about this too. Only possible illegal aspect I could see is if the metal to non-metal content is off versus the factory FUCA. If someone protests you for that with these particular arms they deserve to be ridiculed by everyone around.
