There are several good selections that i can't really list them all. The continental extreme sport is high on the list. The PS4S being arguably the best money can buy, although the highest price in its class. I personally don't buy in to this logic. I'm currently on PZ4's on my G and Dunlops sport maxx gt's (most underrated tire in history) on my FX. Even if the Michelin's are statistically better than the competition, they are not worth the significant cost difference IMO. For the price i'd rather go with Extreme tires which i know work better on the street and track. My Direzza ZII's worked better in all conditions over the PSS and lasted the same amount of time with the small caveat that it made slightly more noise and vibrated at high speeds toward the very end of its life. The Nitto INVO IMO is still one of the best tires for its intended use, certainly for the cost. For the street, this tire handles perfectly with great comfort, even in low profile sizes. They don't have the most grip in dry/wet conditions but give a ton of feedback and are very smooth. |

My Invo’s Like the warmer weather more than the cooler (Above 50*),
With 13k miles & almost 10 mos. on a set; front’s are a solid 8/32” tread, while the rears are 1-2/32”... heavy foot could have played a role in this. Don’t forget about a traction device in your differential...plenty of options on the stick-shift cars....an open diff can be un-predictable.

Aero is always last. Tires, brakes, coilovers, swaybars and adjustable arms before you start delving into that area. What good is aero if you dont have the tires or suspension to actually make use of it.
Keep your base wheels your DD wheels, and get another set for track wheels. Im running a whatever setup of allseasons on the base, 225/45/18 and 245/40/18. My daily commute is about 90mi a day, no sense spending good money on tires that you burn out. My Track / Funtime tires are 275/35/19 and 285/35/19 on a 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 wheels. They sit in the garage until its party time.
