Autocross (ASP) / track coilover dilemma

Can't you just change to a non progressive spring setup? I'm sure KW would have the charts handy to let you know a "basic" setup to go to. You would

Can't you just change to a non progressive spring setup? I'm sure KW would have the charts handy to let you know a "basic" setup to go to. You would lose the ride quality from the progressives, but have a better spring setup for autocross.
