The couple of T&T's and at Evo most everyone I talked to that were running Hankooks last year but could not get them this spring due to availability and bought something else just to have new tires to start the year, are all saying they wish they have waited for the Re71's. Too bad the RE71 does not come in a 285/35/18 (just noticed Tire Rack had a $70 rebate on the RE71's).
ahh ok.. RS3 lost some money bc they didn't get their stuff together.. even in NE, most clubs start late March (test tune) or event 1 First week of April. My sizes aren't available till 4/30 with a 5/3 ship date. SCCA PRo solo for NE is on 5/8 and 4 events will be done by then. Seriously, bc of their slacking, Dunlop and Bridgestone cashed in. I just bought RE-71 bc rs3 isn't available.
