I have been running R-Specs for a long time and I always set bump and rebound on my shocks and add a track alignment specifically for the R-spec tyres.
I want the car sharp so it reacts (points on turn-in and table enough to take a "set" which tolerates power early) with the race rubber on, but make it a bit more lazy for DD so it is not so "darty" which means I take a bit of camber and some toe out for DD duties (if I run the track setup as DD it will destroy DD tyres in less than 1000 kms). |
