Yea 6th is good fun. Red River is right off of 6th and that's where most of the best clubs are for live music.

Is there any interest in a bye weekly meet. Thursday's or Friday's maybe at a Starbucks or Taco Cabana..? One a month just isn't enough for me.. 👎 I need more Z's.. : )

I'm a noob when it comes to meets. Is it frowned upon to show up in an unmodded car? What's the point if it there's nothing to show off? What goes down at these meets?

I'm game, but my Z is about to go back in the paint booth for a new pattern on the rear...

Depends on what meet your going to/talking about. The Z meets are usually Cars & Coffee once a month in Leander, & stock cars are welcomed as long as they are clean.
The meets on Saturdays are a different story... the 1st half is for anyone that knows how to drive, but the 10/11pm meets are more of a "underground" type of meet with almost every car/truck having some kind of mods. Just test the waters & come out & see if it's to your liking...

All types of cars show up (Corvettes, Vipers, Camaros, R8s (sometimes)... you name it). Basically, if people are into their car and want to show it, they bring it (I don't really consider it a modded car show per say). If you got a 370Z, you got something to show off:)

The attendees are anyone from families, to young singles, to other misc. guys with their cars. If you're into cars, you'd probably want to check it out

10AM is so early.....have you guys considered any afternoon/evening events?

This is the official Austin Cars & Coffee event hosted by the town of Leander. I don't get to set the time :( .. It starts officially at 11am, but we leave the meet up place by 10:15 because it takes about 20-25 minutes to get there and we want to make sure we get a place to park in the show. Last month there was such a large turnout we barely got in.

If you are simply spectating, then there is no real rush as there is plenty of parking within a couple of blocks of Leander's City Center.

We used to up till around a year and a half or so ago. We used to meet 3rd Saturday of the month around 6:30 near Starbucks on Anderson Ln. in North/Central Austin. Interest sorta waned for the informal meet though. It may be time to try to start them back up again as there as quite a few more Z owners since we stopped meeting

No prob. Hopefully the weather is as nice in May as it was last Sunday. A lot of great cars there, but mine was the only Z.
