That was an official statement from Jody at C&C. I was just trying to give a heads up, not deter anyone from attending. Sheesh.

JAR - what' the parking situation at the Oasis? Do you end up in the garage?

A group is planning on driving over from Houston and I suggested they meet you guys at Target. I'm not sure if I can make it though.

Do you need to "register" to park?

already spoke with the event organizer mike and its first come first serve parking but the main lot is reserved for american muscle. they have multiple lots there so i imagine if u arrive early enough there are spaces out of the garage but we will see. we will try and meet up with the austin crew prior to roll in. she did mention that this c&c was gonna be huge and that we should try to arrive early. should we plan to meet a little earlier? so far we have 6 or 7 from houston and 2 more coming from dallas and then capital z said that a couple would roll out.

Plan to get there earlier if you guys want to park together.

Here is the center driveway that splits the two lots. The main lot is on the left. You will most likely get put in the lot on the right or possibly down into the cul-de-sac in the back.

There were plenty of spots last month when we got there around 9:30, but not enough for a big group to park together. We should probably plan on meeting at Target around 8:15 instead of 9am.

Just as an fyi, this month will be very different. Since they are filming that show from that British tv firm, it will be swamped. They're are cars coming from all over Texas. What time would u guys recommend to get spots? In Houston u have to be they're at 6am, I imagine it won't be that bad.

Just wanted to give you guys and gals a weather update for C&C this week end. So far as of today it looks good for Sunday. It will be cold in the morning with the lows in the mid. 30' and the highs Sunday to be in the Low 50' with Sunny skies!! I will keep you all up to date as the week goes on!!:tup:

Of course it doesn't look like there will be good enough weather to detail the car before C&C :mad:

Jarblue, just check the weather and Saturday is looking good to get the car all cleaned up!! :tup:

Youz guys are gonna have to roll out around 5 to get into austin and the 360 area by around 8, then I would say to roll in by 830.





Oh and you cant drink any coffee until you get to the meet. j/k

I'll do my best to get them there by 8, might be able to even roll in earlier. Couple from the capital z Facebook mentioned they were going. I'll post our meet up.

OK gang, here is the weather update as of this evening. Sunday morning looks to be in the low 30' and the high for Sunday to be in the mid 50' with mostly clear skies. :tup:

Looks like we are coming from Houston with close to 10 as of now. Couple from Dallas, and a few from capital z. Should be sweet!

Here is the weather update for C&C this Sunday. The low for the morning is forecasted 42' with the high for the day to be 64'. With clear skies. I will keep you all up to date on the weather as the weekend approaches. :tup:
