ZClub of Texas meet Tonight! 11/19

I thought this was gonna be a get together. Walked in and, no offense, but but I felt young and out of place... I'm 21, my names Anthony.

Yeah there's a formal meeting, with officers and everything. Organized club, mostly older people. A lot of them have multiple cars. Haven't been to an event with them, but I did talk to one guy for a while at the Dallas Auto Show a few years back. My step dad actually knew him. He has connections with Mr. K and travels to Nissan Japan from time to time. I'm 27, but I still feel young in the group.

30 people at the meeting tonight, including 1 visitor. I've been told it's a low average turnout. I counted 17 cars total initially including 3 GTRs, my lone Z34, one 88-ish Z31, and plenty of Z33s and Z32s. No old school Z cars for the 2nd time in a row though, kind of sucks. Turns out a guy that came in a Cayenne Turbo also has a GTR but was having the exhaust put on at Jotech at the moment.

omnomz (and friend) and Bumble Zee showed up as everyone came outside to shoot the shit and check out the cars, so I wasn't the only 370.

Terrible Pictures Yay!
The pictures that are harder to see the cars in are the ones with the flash on. Not the best camera, took better pics without the flash only using the parking lot lighting.

A couple of the better/cooler ones.

Sure is fun meet up with you guys.
Yeah I felt a bit out of place too, until I walked back and find my place LOL
But they are very cool, and to be able to see GTR's peeling on the parking lot...priceless

I'm young too, so when I can make it out there will be at least one more guy in their 20's.

yeah even if you guys just show up around 8:30-9p for the "shootin the shit" time that'd be cool. the meeting thing is the only part that needs getting sed to. the first time i was there i was late, it's like walking into a class late that you've never been to. yesterday i showed up early, talked to some people, ate some buffet food, and it was all gravy.

That would be Mad Mike and he is someone you would be wise to get to know. I had the amazing fortune to get invited to go with him and a few others to Japan last year and see stuff that would blow your mind.

Yes that would be me walking around the grid before the start of the Super GT race at The Fuji Speedway

Here are the links to my pics from our trip:

FYI-Mad Mike is one of the main reasons the 350Z and the Z itself was revived after Nissan stopped production of the Z car in 1999. All of you "young" guys do yourself a favor and get to know the "older" Z folks. There is ton of stuff you guys will learn and appreciate your Z car even more
