Default STILLEN Exhaust - Now Easy Clearance of Crossmember

With the difficulty some shops were having keeping the STILLEN Exhaust from resting on the crossmembers once fully bolted up, we went ahead and made some slight changes to the exhaust system to make it much easier to get the exhaust installed without touching the crossmember.

These are in stock and shipping.. and currently on sale..

Great work Josh

It's good having a vendor around that watches what happens with their products and responds to it

Is there any recourse for people who bought the first version of the exhaust?

Please PM me with any issues, I'm not aware of anyone not able to make this system work with some additional instruction.

Musashi I will PM you, I'm sure we can work something out that will satisfy you completely..

Josh I have the same problem with my CBE is there anything I can do to stop it. I have tried tweaking it and got it as far away as I can but it still produces a rattle on occasion. Any insight would help.

Just out of curiosity... this exhaust claims to be "true dual" exhaust however there is a y-pipe so the exhaust meet up. is it really true dual? what does true dual really mean? I thought that'd be two pipes running straight back from the header.

^I was wondering this too. I'm not an exhaust guru, but I would think true dual would be from the header.

I also notice how stillen guys respond on the forums and make changes due to feedback it's good stuff, shows they care.

EDIT:
Doing some research some people say true dual means has two catalytic converters, two mufflers and two tailpipes. Which doesn't explicitly say one pipe. While others say true dual the pipes are separate the entire length(May come together for space but are split internally). I don't know which one is true. I don't know if it matters or the same gains can be had by either system. They are claiming pretty close to FI numbers on the website but that is clearly one pipe that isn't split internally.
