Didn't the Cowboys sign Jared Allen yesterday? I somehow doubt he's going to be averaging 13 sacks/yr for them (his current career avg).

Hopefully this means that we'll get a QB with the first pick. In the second round.

Yeah, we only saved about $4m, but this way we have to eat the whole hit this year. Rick Smith can't kick the can down the road again. I'd rather rip the band-aid off fast.

They were worried, and I find this funny as hell, that if he were released that the Browns would make a better offer. If you're worried about Cleveland snaking your guy, doesn't that mean you have the wrong guy?
