haha, just as expected, Man City still sucks ass. I watched the match today and they were dominated all over the pitch by the Yids, heres hoping the same situation happens for the Miami Heat

You also forgot I got a few Arsenal players :D

Going back to balls-- at one of my matches last night, we played with whatever ball Nike made for the EPL & I ****ing hated it. Despite being fully inflated, it felt so soft & light.

I'm a big Nike fan boy, but Adidas ftw on balls.

blue660r01 08-14-2010 06:05 PM

Word mines ADIDAS and I love it

blue660r01 08-14-2010 06:07 PM

I have this only a diff color.

the Nike and Brine match balls fly like crazy, makes sending in crosses from the flanks a very delicate affair, I usually like to send them in about head height and very hard and its near impossible to do with one of those brands. Adidas makes great balls but to be honest, the best one I've used to date was the old Puma MLS ball with the dimples on it, it had a perfect balance of rebound and weight.

Red370 08-15-2010 10:50 AM

WHAT THE FUCK MAN!!!! Joe Cole goes in with a scissor sweep and possibly breaks Koscielnys leg, the same damn way Ramsey and Eduardo got theirs broken, is it some kind of running competition in the premier league to snap Arsenal players legs?

cow 08-15-2010 10:52 AM

Oh god that was horrible. His leg was braced around the knee as he was carried off. I hope it isn't an ACL/ MCL injury.

cow 08-15-2010 10:53 AM

*I hope it isn't a serious injury, no matter what the ailment.

Red370 08-15-2010 10:54 AM

welcome to the EPL Koscielny. FML man, now we DEFINITELY have to buy another defender.

Red370 08-15-2010 10:55 AM

that better be more than a goddamn 3 match ban.

cow 08-15-2010 11:02 AM

It won't be more than three matches. It was a poor challenge, but there was no malicious intent.

Red370 08-15-2010 11:05 AM

oh man, thank god, koscielny is back in the 2nd half, phew.

cow 08-15-2010 11:11 AM

I guess we're nervous considering the club's recent history with legs.

cow 08-15-2010 11:50 AM

I'll take that, though I wouldn't wish an own goal on any keeper.

cow 08-15-2010 11:56 AM

Weak second yellow on Koscielny.

Red370 08-15-2010 11:57 AM

that 2nd yellow was bullshit. I dont know if we deserved a draw though, Liverpool fought pretty hard in the second half, but once again, we controlled the pace of play and had the better opportunities. But of course, i'm biased.

cow 08-15-2010 12:03 PM

Other than Rosicky's strike & a few bundled clearances, I don't remember any chances for Arsenal. The attack felt toothless for long stretches, I thought.

phelan 08-15-2010 01:06 PM

dear god, we couldn't muster sh*t against a 10 man liverpool. terrible in attack, even sending on van persie didn't help us much. rosicky was brilliant, liverpool probably did more damage to themselves than anything else. i'm amazed vermaelen had more chances than chamakh.

AW needs to invest in one more defender now that koscielny could have a small knock on his knee (he looked recovered but how much of that is adrenaline?), and he's carrying 2 bookings already. and i feel awful for wilshere's first game of the season w/ the first team, he gave that away to ngog.

blue660r01 08-15-2010 03:38 PM

:ugh:

cow 08-17-2010 09:58 AM

Apparently Milner to City is done, & Real Madrid have signed Ozil.

cow 08-17-2010 10:00 AM

Ozil, Di Maria, Kaka, Ronaldo, Canales (who was supposed to be a big coup for the club as they built for the future), Granero, Khedira, Pedro Leon, Van de Vart

How are all these people going to fit in one team?

phelan 08-17-2010 10:18 AM

they aren't. but mourinho will still kick the sh*t out of barca somehow :rofl2:

lulz scarface is banned from international football

http://www.goal.com/en/news/9/englan...slams-kamikaze

for once i agree with Sh*t Alex Ferguson. I hope Man City dies a horrible death in the league table this year. Money can't buy trophies, dammit!

cow 08-17-2010 10:53 AM

I hope Barca stomps Madrid. They & City are deplorable.

I hope Arsenal meets them both in the Champs league and scats upon them with the reserve team that Arsene likes to field repeatedly.

phelan 08-17-2010 11:29 AM

arsenal / barca in the CL would be funny. if fabregas plays in the nou camp, we'd be hearing serenades all game long, and xavi tossing roses at cesc instead of playing soccer :rofl2:

Ugh I wish Ozil stayed in the Bundesliga. I dont know why all these guys go to Madrid to just sit on the bench its stupid. Why do they feel the need to sign EVERY player?

phelan 08-17-2010 02:05 PM

aaahahahahah, young boys 2-0 tottenham

You're just jealous. At least the Yankees play their best players.

blue660r01 08-17-2010 06:48 PM

lmao!

Initial reports indicate that Madrid paid just €15m for Oezil's services. If they are true, that makes Bremen not just the great whore of the Bundesliga, but a cheap one at that. A team with any ambition would have scoffed at such an offer. Even if Oezil had left on a free transfer next year, in keeping him, Bremen could have put their best foot forward towards earning the €10m bonus of playing in the Champions League (both this year and the next), and kept their dignity as well.
