Well Germany have a pretty powerful team so he shouldnt be too tough to knock around and shut down. And you stay away from Neuer because Bayern are talking with him to sign him!

Red370 07-03-2010 10:55 AM

hey... where did that new tag come from?

DannyGT 07-03-2010 10:57 AM

That counter is BEAST! I'm not sure Spain has it against this army. I would like to see Spain win it but it looks like it will be a Germany > Holland.

Red370 07-03-2010 10:58 AM

I think that whole accumulated card rule is FUKN BULLSHYT. Now our most creative and arguably best scorer is out against Spain, FML.

Germany will be fine without Muller

Spain or Paraguay none has a chance with Germany.

I hope. :vuvuzela: Germany

DannyGT 07-03-2010 11:41 AM

I'm sure they'll still play well without Muller but its difficult without a fantastic play maker. I actually hope Spain can pull threw but after todays performance its going to be tough.

Who knows, Spain may go 5-0 today and make a statement right back...

Something about Argentina just screams final to me! idk why haha
You're right about the inexperience on that team. But they will have one of the most, if not the most talented squads taken to South Africa. And I guess I'm relying on that talent to push them through..

Schweinsteiger has truly become world class this past year since they put him into a CDM role. I wouldnt hesitate to put him right there with Xavi.

blue660r01 07-03-2010 05:42 PM

Get ready to see a HUGE jump for Paraguay in the FIFA rankings also. From 31 to the teens I bet.

I agree, the kid has been a stud the whole tournament, i've also been EXTREMELY impressed with Khedira, hes been excellent going forward and his passes are laser accurate. I think the whole German team's stock went up, wont be a cheap player on the team after the cup, hopefully Arsene splashes some cash and adds one or two of them. I hear Mertesacker is on his top priority list, that would be amazing.

Still, Maradona didn't accept any blame for the crushing defeat, and lashed out at a reporter who questioned whether his critics in Argentina might be satisfied with the loss.

"Are you joking," he said. "This is a country where you live and breathe football. I don't think that anyone will be happy when the team loses 4-0."

:icon18: you want the whole damn German team dont ya! I agree though Khedira is a HUGE help with how he has been playing. At first it sucked that Ballack was hurt because any true Germany fan would be disappointed in that...but I also realized that this would be a huge opportunity for younger players to step up to the plate and show they deserve to be there. And oh boy did Ozil, Khedira, and Muller prove they are the future!!!

Chupacabra 07-03-2010 06:08 PM

Jesus christ I feel raped. Haven't been able to sit down. Damn germans.

Bah. Bring on the tour de france.

Most of that team out there was under 25 years old, I think we're about to see a decade of German dominance in europe, hell, the world. Crazy.

I think Xavi is better about picking out *that* pass, but Schweinsteiger might be more dangerous on the ball as he's not afraid to shoot.

I love watching Barca & Spain, but at times, Xavi is too unselfish.

phelan 07-03-2010 08:50 PM

I'd like xavi more if he shut his damn mouth over transfer rumors more. Can't deny his talents though.

Fabregas made out of glass? What'd I miss??

cow 07-03-2010 08:54 PM

I suppose he was talking about his being injured most of the season?
