After not getting the tickets for the Ravens vs Patriots game (they were sold out the minute they went on sale at ticketmaster) I've kinda lost interest in going to the game. Don't really want to spend like $300 on a ticket to go. I'll probably just have like a party or something at my cousin's house and watch it there. I'll invest that money into a Brady jersey instead :tup:

Yup, I'm a Patriots fan here. I just wanted to go to a game for once just to experience it and this would have been the perfect one to go to. Instead I'll just enjoy watching at my cousin's house. I'll be the lone Patriots fan in a house full of Ravens fans. Should be more fun this way :p

Also, Brady was playing against an actual defense, which the Patriots didn't have. I will admit that Flacco did well in that game and Brady kind of sucked. For once, I wouldn't blame Flacco for the loss.

LMAO! yea i was pretty livid at Cundiff myself BUT not nearly as livid as i was with the Lee Evans "catch" .... to me if you look at that play on replay.... he caught it, had control of the ball, had two feet down and THEN the hand comes in and knocks it out......and THEN to add to it.... the next day or two the NFL comes out and says " we made a mistake.... that was infact a catch.." in other words we muffed up. Interesting news from the Steelers. After Mike Wallace refused the offer for a 5 year $42M contract offer, they decided to give the same offer to Antonio Brown and he signed it. Looks like Mike Wallace may be leaving the Steelers after next season :stirthepot:

Also, I wanted to do another fantasy football league for the forum. I asked ClemsonWill to start up the league like he did last year, but I think I'm gonna do it myself instead. Interesting news from the NFL today. Looks like the Patriots will be signing Jeff Demps, who recently won a silver medal in the 4x100 m relay at the London Olympics. He played as a RB in college, but I'm interested in how the Patriots will decide to use him. He skipped the draft this year to focus on training for the Olympics.

I guess with Stevan Ridley getting injured in practice yesterday (seems to be a minor one), they'll probably put him in the RB rotation.

i believe from what i read, the reason being why he wasnt drafted or looked at during the draft exc... was because he had stated he wanted to focus on the Olympics. now thats over with.... hes turning his attention to this. like you said

Patriots' 1st round draft picks have been looking good. Chandler Jones has been very impressive and some are saying he could be the next Jason Pierre Paul. That would be great news and a huge improvement for our D.
