Apparently we have an imposter on the Giants.

yay another giants field goal :D

b1adesofcha0s 12-03-2012 09:49 PM

I've accepted my loss against you Rooster. I have Tynes in my other league so I'm happy with the field goals as well.

yeah. i think he is best performing kicker this year. not sure. too lazy to check the stats lol

if you don't win the consolation bowl, im going to be mad at you tho. me, i'm predicting a first round loss. my team is too streaky and not nearly consistent enough.

I know right! My team had so much damn potential. They completely collapsed today except for Gostkowski and my 2 pickups this week.

Tynes was #1 kicker when I picked him up about 1/3-1/2 way into the season.

see i was the opposite, all my stars were disappointments. After week 2 i was projected for last place. It took all my focus and luck to change the pace.

I still had a couple major mistakes. Two specifically, if it weren't for those dumb mistakes I would be higher up. But i look at it this way, its all gravy for focusing my season on cj2k and stafford. those two suck anyway. Dez has been my life safer. Turner my workhorse. Tynes is the glue that sticks it all together. I hope mccoy stays out, cuz i might be able to ride bryce brown.

I need McCoy back for my other league. I literally have no halfway decent backup for him. Good thing I have Peterson who often scores enough for 2 good RB's. My dream team of Peterson never really worked out as well as I hoped. They never both played well in the same week. McCoy got hurt once AP started lighting it up.

wide receiver has been my strongest position this year. i mean turner is consistent, but never fantastic so he usually scores right around 12 pts a game.

where are you on your waiver list for next week? you might be able to find a decent rb on the wire this week.

Talking about my other league. I just picked up Bilal Powell. He was pretty much my best option. It's a 12 person league so there are fewer players available. I'm #1 in that league though.

the370z is the first non 12 player league i've ever played in. is powell really the best you could pick up?

Yeah pretty much. I have somewhat of a selection between crappy 2nd string QB's that only get a handful of carries. Went with Powell because he has a good matchup next week against the Jags. Also, Jets have no QB so they'll be running a lot. I played Shane Vereen this week, but he's pretty much an all or nothing player. He either gets you ~10 pts or less than 1 and it was the latter this week.

b1adesofcha0s 12-03-2012 10:37 PM

I would have made it a 12 person league but I just barely even got 10 people interested in playing.

b1adesofcha0s 12-03-2012 10:43 PM

Redskins with the win!

As a Cowboys fan, I approve this message. And outcome.

Fumbles are touchdowns now? Ahman Green is gonna make a comeback!

b1adesofcha0s 12-03-2012 10:55 PM

Eagles might bring Vick back now!

Dude I can not wait for the game on Monday! Just wish I could skip the rest of this week and get to it already.

Red__Zed 12-04-2012 11:22 AM

Hopefully we get to watch a Thursday night beat down this week

Probably.

b1adesofcha0s 12-04-2012 12:05 PM

It's funny how at the beginning of the season the NFC looked really strong and the AFC looked weak. Now it's the opposite with the NFC heavyweights falling in recent weeks.

Houston will lose, our injuries are adding up and we are still unable to compete at the top level. I can see us going into the playoffs, winning a game or two and then falling flat. Now, will I be happy? Yes, it has taken 10 years but we are finally back to having a competitive football team.

Yeah I agree with you there. Too many key injuries on defense. Texans have been doing bad against the pass for the past few weeks. Though the only AFC teams I can see them losing to are Pats and Broncos.

Keyshawn Johnson just said "Young NFL players can't afford to hire a driver when they've been out drinking which is why they choose to drink & drive".

Really Keyshawn? Let's see how many holes we can poke in that argument.
Go:
-League minimum for a rookie in 2012 is $390k per year. I don't think that needs any further explanation.

-You can afford to drink but can't afford a cab?

-Dude in question was out drinking just a few hours before he was supposed to be flying out to play the Bengals. If I'm Jerry Jones, I'm not sure I'm ok with that.

-Why is it ok for NFL players to endanger themselves and everyone else on the road but not the rest of us?

Effing Keyshawn.

Isn't there a free driver service for all nfl players if drunk? There was a few years ago.

dmhenderson 12-09-2012 09:43 AM

Funny you should mention that. Yes there is! Players don't want to use that because their teams might use the fact that they are...oh I dunno responsible...against them in contract negotiations (according to Keyshawn).

Because y'know, killing people while driving around like a jackass (no offense Ryan Dunn) is obviously the more sane route.

b1adesofcha0s 12-09-2012 10:52 AM

Agreed on all points DM. Costs what like $50 max to get a cab? They make that much probably in less than a minute of game time.

Nismo89 12-09-2012 11:22 AM

b1adesofcha0s 12-09-2012 11:25 AM

I think you might just see that happen! I like watching RG3 he is an exciting player to watch I would almost say he is better then watching the old Vick play back when he was with Atlanta!

Side note: there are some really good matches today!

I've never seen anything but an elite flacco.

b1adesofcha0s 12-09-2012 11:44 AM

Yeah I think the Skins are going to win today.

LMBmikeZ 12-09-2012 11:48 AM

I think you might be right!

I am also liking the looks of the Chicago VS Minnesota, NO VS NYG and of course the monday nighter is looking like the match of the week!

and yet again I will probably be disappointed with sanchez performance against the Jags :shakes head:

b1adesofcha0s 12-09-2012 11:56 AM

Go Pats! Definitely could be one of the best games of the season and a potential AFC title match up. On top of that we could have a potential SB preview next week against the 49ers.

LMBmikeZ 12-09-2012 12:36 PM

 back to back good games for you and all the other pats fans!

shadoquad 12-09-2012 12:39 PM

Yeah, Ravens Defense is poasibly their worst ever.
