Thats possible but its likely a bunch of poor drivers on a steep grade. Throw in some curves and subtract a bunch of brain cells and you get the picture. Oh, and I bet the majority of those cars were automatic.

Default Lumping AT's into the mix as cause??

AT's downshift also & hold higher performance shift ratios than MT's, check out F1's or A-Burners. I have made a few (2) runs at GMR as of late, no more for me, that clip showed very very tame encounters compared to the last two runs I went on, and I'm sure many more have seen worse. The basic reason for their wonder driving is, THEY CANT DRIVE WHAT THEY HAVE, A Prius in the #4 lane on flat land at 55-mph is the option for those wonder drivers.

Take care,

Default No upset.

Just data, it's all in how you intake the data, if it bothers a soul then reflect inward or express. Sorry about the xxxxx that was to withdraw the original recipient note which I had entered to the wrong address. I did resend the comment to the correct address. Clear as mud?

Take care.
