awesome love audio work....I just pulled the trigger on the ID CTX65cs components last month when I did my stereo and they sound awesome....audiophile recommended for $250 component speakers Polk db6501 vs Image Dynamic CTX-6.5cs or Rockford Fosgate T2652-S

I've got two sets of those Polk db6501's in my truck and I love 'em! Best set of doors speakers I've ever had, without a doubt.

yeah I highly recomended the db501 to a buddy a couple of days ago because i definitely agree with you brancky! the only reason i bought them is because i had been dieing to listen to a set after reading that review. Id say if budget wasnt an issue they make a different for mid bass but for the price i recomend the db501s allllllll day long.
Those are an awesome set of speakers patrick if you havnt listened to them yet you will be very happy. if you have had a set previously then u already know lol. |
oh that was brandon not brancky lol oops thats what i get for not using the quote button

Yea, the ID CTX-6.5cs are a better set for sure...but the db6501's can't be beat at their price point. I will probaby use the ID's in my Z when I gut all the Bose stuff.

Only thing abt the id's is mounting depth but they just came out with shallow mount version that are unerring expensive but since I just put the id's in the rear I'm pretty much commuted to do the same for the doors lol will be waiting g for more money though since the rear speakers are right behind my head they sound plenty good right now.

I installed a full set of Polks in the G8 this weekend and they sound tremendously better than the stock Blaupunkts. Highs and lows are much more crisp. For a drop in speaker mod, I am very satisfied :)
