I will let you know when its ready for you to take a look at it. I have to get some dents removed first. Will definitely give you my business.

That may be something I would probably need as well.

BC is not a forgiving color.

dark colors in general are not forgiving, but they do look nice

Does anyone local have Recaro Sportster CS or Cross Sportster seats I could sit in?

brancky3 02-28-2016 05:02 PM

Wasn't someone in GA selling some? Upgrading your seats soon? :happydance:

I have no idea, and yea...considering replacing the driver's seat

EDIT: I see Mike's post, I wish I could sit in some before I make any decisions, might have to drive to do so.

Have you tried any dealers? Looks like Benson has a new Nismo in stock which I believe are ultimately the same seats right?

Unfortunately the new nismo seat is the Recaro top and same crappy bottom. That said, I may be able to find an OEM that has those exacts seats, good idea.

Yeah Juke RS has the Sportster CS seats but they may be a little tall.

Next project Patrick. See if nissan was lazy/smart enough to make the floors/seat bases exactly the same between the z and the juke.

If they were smart enough to make them the same I would have stolen my wife's Juke Nismo seats a year ago :happydance: I don't know what it is about those seats but they are the most comfortable I've ever sat in.

I already tried that with my girl's Nismo as well, no go but they are comfortable as hell. That said, the Juke Nismo seats are not the Nismo RS seats, which do appear to be the whole Sportster CS. I see a thread where someone made it work with a lot of fiddling, but I'm not paying twice what the actual seats costs to get them. The most I'm going to do is add the resistor to trick the airbag.

EDIT: Just the seat back assembly with no covering is 1500 dollars from courtesyparts for the Nismo Sportster CS from the Juke Nismo . I'll be getting entire seats for that money.

Anyone have any ideas on how much complete seat re-upholstery runs? I don't particularly love any of the factory Recaro options to be honest. Probably go for the Black Vinyl with Suede center or all black vinyl.

Juke Nismo, why must your angles and curves be so annoying to clean
