Yeah this Thursday, the 18th

There was a discussion of a Christmas dinner with one of my vendors but not sure that'll pan out. I'll let y'all know, would love to meet up.

While we're all together Thursday, does anyone want to buy my shift knob? It's a TK HB clone, but just plain grey (no logos). Pics: here

If it was a real TK I might just make an offer... just think how the dude that changes my oil at the dealership would react when my beater frontier rolls in with a legit TK shift knob. He'd be like :ugh2:

(He's a long time 240 guy, big into JDM stuff)

I've got an authentic TK and love it. Hated paying for it though.

Always wanted a TK knob, they're especially a hot commodity now that they're no longer in existence..

Every once in a while you see one go up for sale, but yeah, I think I've been noticing an increasing trend in their pricing and I'm not that crazy about them.

When you can have someone like Chris at Lathewerks make you a custom shift knob, I can't understand why people pay crazy prices for the TK ones.

I did just buy a momo and I wasn't sure how I would like the feel of it but I liked the look. Turns out I really like the feel, its solid and doesn't loosen up. Just not super heavy like the ones I used to make out of high grade stainless scrap at work. Voodoo Shift knobs are quite good for the money too.

If you've never looked at LatheWerks I'd suggest browsing around. lathewerks.com/shop/ He's got some great options and will work with you if you want something specific that's not listed.

Check the copolymer knobs, they never heat up to where they burn your hand, it's great.
