Hey thanks yall... My tablet shut down with no warning. So this is round two (ding,ding) on a greeting/intro/gratitude/response. Short and sweet this go around..ha. I love living in the south and I enjoy the many benefits of the southern weather. Cars/bikes/trucks. Hope to make it to CIN sometime this spring "Z day" ect. As I'm new to the Z world, I know little about these cars really. Other then Just from what I read. One thing is certain, the clutch system blows. Need that corrected sooner then later. And haha...stock exhaust, ur funny. But in your defense... U never know. I like the max 2 so far. Haven't gotten really to test it out per say.also Looking to get a viper 5906v remote start/Alarm on it soon. If your going luxury sport go the extra mile on a remote start:) in addition im Getting the driver seat touched up ATM, so I can get that new butt cushion feel with some new leather:). Also tint of course, but this will be my first car with that UV ray windshield tint. Let's hope no SC boulders come flying at me down these fantastic kept roads. I'll stop rambling. Ps. Hello everyone!

Im another proud owner of a 370z currently living in Florence, SC. I had a couple of questions that I was hoping some of you guys could answer. Im in the process of buying a whole bunch of mods for the car and was wondering if any of you had any recommendations on where to take the car to get them done? Im not very well versed in DIY and want to make sure its done at a good shop at a decent price. Anyway, below are all the parts (cant wait!):

- Motordyne Intake Manifold, Art Pipes, Shockwave E370 exhaust
- 2015 Nismo body kit
- vinyl wrapping the whole car

Also, any recommendations on a good shop that does vehicle vinyl wrapping will be much appreciated!

Welcome! As far as the performance work goes. The best place close to you would be Proauto in Columbia. The owner, Nick, is a great guy and supports the local scene really well. They're on facebook or http://www.proauto-llc.com. Tell Nick Josh sent you.

As far as the wraps, well you're in luck there too. Elicit design solutions is owned and operated by two Z guys, and they do phenomenal work. They're based in Charlotte, so its not too far of a hike. Far and away the best wraps I've ever personally seen.

Jay, CIN is no longer an entity, at least not the way it was. Bobby, the owner, has taken a shop manager position at another big performance shop in Charlotte and has since pretty much ceased working on cars at CIN.

Chris, mentioned in jtodd's post above, runs his operation there by renting space from Bobby but there isn't much wrenching and modifying going on these days...

Im in for a meet! Im gonna see if we can get some of the fd owners in the area out there. Some of them have great skills such as welding (both structural and custom intake and exhaust piping) and another guy is straight building his own ecu from the ground up like whaaaa :confused::ugh2:????

Maybe it's just me but I've been burned every time I go to Myrtle. Each time I've been, for any reason, it's been chalked full of drunken douche-bag's ***-hats...typically age 15-25. I don't think even a meet would get me down there again given past experiences. :shakes head:

Who's on board for a Thursday dinner meet up somewhere? Maybe Quaker this time since we haven't been there in a while? Say 7pm or so?

Also, I agree on MB being pretty much terrible for a car meet. Last time I went for one, we had a hard time getting lowered cars around because the roads are so bad in MB proper. We ended up having a lot more fun going on cruises out around the area.

Last time I went to myrtle beach I accidently stumbled upon Black Biker Week....not racist at all buuuuut never again......
