Good luck! Hopefully Bobby has resolved the issues he was running into during my tune. Kept losing connection with the ecu. He was pissed that the new uprev release was being a PITA.

ok, so after the "old man" coments about the CTS-V I:driving: went back to the drawing board, and found this! 2012 ZL1.
|

I have actually looked at these ZL-1s myself. It's just hard to pick between this or the 2013 Shelby. Both are insane values but both have there pros and cons. |
I have not bought yet. I to am torn between this and the Cobra. I think in the end I like the ZL1 better. I was reading people putting an intake and retune and getting 60hp. It rides really nice but feels heavy.
|
Zl1 that's sick.
You trading in or selling yours..? |
between the two, i'd go with the ZL1. but really, i'd get a boss first. the new shelby is badass but just seems like too much... everything for the chassis.

It will feel heavy. Its over 4,000lbs.. This is the reason I bought my Z. The power to weight ratio is horrible on the new muscle cars. The new corvette is awesome but (for the one I like) I would just drop a few dime's more and get me an italian sports car.... I mean really would you prefer to have a lambo/ferrari or a brand new chevy in you drive way. |

I still have my 67 with a shot of gas so if your looking to score on Hwy11 your still out off luck, lol |

I don't think you can go wrong with either the Zl-1 or Cobra for the price. But it might be worth waiting for the new corvette.
