Just got my new one in with the thicker base plate and it feels much better. Also engagment seems to be higher but, not sure on that because i have the RJM pedal.

Run the pushrod out as far as you can And adjust the stopper per Seb instructions. I had similar mushy pedal like it wouldn't bleed correctly problem and it ended up being not enough pushrod length...
