There is a guy here in Houston that has had this issue as well. After looking further into it, I discovered that mine is a newer design with thicker spokes. I'm guessing the design had been updated...

Fast Intentions 12" res x-pipe

I'm currently running the F.I. LTH's paired to the F.I. CBE w/18" resonators. I'm looking to swap out my F.I. 18" resonated x-pipe out for a F.I. 12" resonated x-pipe. Willing to swap or buy outright.

No, if I decide to go the non-res route, I would just purchase a non-res X-pipe and swap it out...thats another great thing about the F.I. set-up.
