That big C-clamp is a ball joint press. That thing can handle a lot of pressure. It's done 6 sets of ball joints on 3/4 ton Ram 4x4's.

Too much of a difference in the measurements. I had them in the freezer for 2 days, and even heated up the arm it' self. No luck. The bushings need to be machined to a smaller diameter.

Up-date. Installed the upper rear control arms bushings from SPL. Did it with out dropping the rear sub-frame. Remove the tires. Remove the axles. This helps in giving you more room to work with....
