I have the Z1 25 row and live in Los Angeles. No problems getting the oil to 180 within about 5 minutes. Not surprisingly, the oil cooler didn't do much in stop and go driving so I had a fan added....

Not just the clutch, but the gas pedal is touchy as can be! While getting used to the Mo, I avoided wearing heavy shoes.

Also, I have found that I have a better feel for the clutch using the ball...

I have the same temperature dependent sluggishness. Ideal oil temp seems to be about 190, progressively weaker above that, and at 220+ it really slows down. I read a passing reference in another post...

Fixed the rattle by moving the hatchback latch down about about 1/8 inch. As others have noted, it was easy, just two bolts. Also, the latch was not even close to being level so I evened it out.
