Whoever painted it for you painted the whole thing white and didn't leave the center opening black like stock.

Not sure if you/they painted that way on purpose, but it's a red flag for front end...

I can believe that. I considered pulling the fuse, but cutting was just going to be faster.

No idea how real the start-up delay is or isn't, but I don't have to worry about it either way now.
