NISMO Front Fascia Chin Guard

Does anyone know of anything to help our cars not get so scratched up under the front bumper? Any advice is appreciated.

Take all curbs/speedbumps/inclines at moderate to extreme angles. You'll have to practice (ie ... get scratches) on items you regularly drive over.

Stop much further back from parking blocks/parking curbs/etc. than you think you should.

If the above doesn't help, they make things like curb ramps you can temporarily/permanently install to help with things like driveway curbs.

The black part under the bumper is removable and a new one is around $80 so I wouldn't worry to much about it. Just my 2c.

No way to avoid any scratches on that thing!! I have been driving lowered cars for a long time and know how to take drive ways, exits, but you just cant avoid them all. Just live with it, and like what Realale said, a new one is cheap.

Oh I was looking at the lower cover bracket. Your right. Disregard what I said. There's still no way to keep it from scratching up.

Yeah that part is around $400. The nice thing is you can use sand paper to sand it down and fix any scratch marks. Use fine sandpaper to smooth it out after. Save $.

If you have a rolling curb driveway you can get some Bridjit ramps.

Angry

This is what happens when you clip a curb at speed. Everything behind the bumper that holds that black piece on in that corner is broke. Bent my ZSpeed undertray in that corner in a 90deg angle.

Thats exactly what i did, i broke all the hardware that attaches it. and by broke i mean the hardware itself is fine, but the actual attaching body is ripped away from the top part of the bumper. Only way to repair is drill a hole underneath and zip tie together.

I wrapped mine in 3m CF and just re-wrap when the new scrapes are visually unacceptable. This way you protect that piece and have extra cf eye candy to look at .
