Default Updated 2014 NISMO 370z

Nissan has introduced a slightly updated NISMO Z that will be available in European markets.

The changes are more aesthetic and seem to be inline with some of the small styling accents I first posted about with the Fairlad y Z NISMO Challenge version from the from the Tokyo Auto Salon.

The car now features two tone color side skirt and bumper aero effects similar to the 350z version of the NISMO Z. The two tone theme is also carried over to the rear wing. Also red accents have been added to the front / rear grill areas and the mirrors. Inside an alcantara wrapped steering wheel has been added aswell.

These changes were done to in an effort to make the car carry the theme of the recently introduced Juke NISMO in that market. NISMO is at the beginning stages of a global brand roll out that will include NISMO and NISMO RS versions of many of its cars. Rumor is the higher performance RS version of the Z will not launch until the Z35 debuts

Reminds me a lot of the K11 paint on the 350z Nismo. IMO, it looks better two-tone. Makes the car look a little more aggressive.

yeah the two tone with darker wheels is more aggressive. i loved it on my nismo 350 and currently on my GTR and was surprised to see the 370z version not have it.

I wonder if next years NISMO Z will see it as i guess there will be one more model year before the Z35.

I will ask the Z marketing manager this week as im supposed to be talking to him anyway about some GTR stuff

Not exactly true. The 2013 Z you love so much was a 2011 370z EuroSport. You just didn't get the goofy eurosport graphics. The refresh just omitted the old grille. This car may possibly be the 2014 U.S. Nismo??? We probably won't see the Nav pkg on it, the suede-lined steering wheel is questionable. But I think, there is a good chance we might see the body??? Maybe it will be vice-versa? The steering wheel, you can have made @ any reputable custom shop.

Let's hope your rumor is true. The only info I have to kind of back that up is that the Z and G were supposed to get a platform divorce?? If this is true? The smaller 3.0tt may be it???

Other thing though. So far the only FI research I've found done by Nissan is a 2.4L SC engine and a 3.0TD... If we do adopt Mercedes 3.0T? Which is a stock 302hp. We definitely need more aggressive transmission options and need to run about 200/300lbs lighter.
