This one was exactly how it came out of the camera, no manipulation except some very light color saturation adjustments. Water drops on a CD and then a blue light run across the edge of the cd.

gear acquisition is biting me like the mod bug.. must resist.. I want a 135 mm..

do it... can't talk highly enough of it. i use mine all the time now. i got this one of my GXP with it a couple weeks ago during the snowpacalypse:

The only thing I feel iffy about getting it is because of the limiting focal length. I already have the 70-200 mkii and the only thing the 135 I desire is that f/2. Lol

70-200 is fast as hell too.

70-200 2.8 is my favorite. 75% of my car photos are taken with that thing.... But then again I don't have a 24-70 or I'd prolly use that a lot too any of y'all use a 24-70 2.8 for cars?

First time posting here so go easy on me :wtf2:

I'm looking into getting a starter DSLR to play with and take shots of my car with.

I'm not looking for the fancy professional grade $3-4k ones, more like around $1k.

I've looked at the following:

Canon 60D
Canon Rebel T5i
Nikon D5300

I know the 60D has been out for a while now and is the most expensive of the 3, so I'm not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing. I do want something that's new-ish so that's why I'm looking at the T5i vs a T3i and even though a T4i is similar. Basically looking for best bang for the buck and wondering if anybody here has any personal experience with comparing the 3. Or if there's any other cameras out there for a beginner I'm all ears :tiphat:

I can only do so much researching and comparing the 3 online. The Best Buys around here don't carry them and even if they did, they're just dummy props. :shakes head:

DSLR Shots and Discussions
 

One of the advantages of the 60d is that it's a full-frame sensor. In essence, if you shoot the exact same shot with a full frame and an aps-c, the picture from the full frame is going to be "bigger". Meaning, you're going to have a bigger "frame" of the picture shot.
I can't really speak to the quality if any if them, but I'm a fan of Canon. I use a 7D.


I goofed. The 6D is full frame1, not the 60D.
